Phase 1

We work with individual family members to increase resiliency and emotional regulation.

We provide caregivers including: teachers, grandparents, parents, foster parents tips and tricks to stabilizing the child in the home by learning Trust-Based Relational Intervention skills.

3

Phase 3

We engage the entire family in the integration of Trust-Based Relational Intervention tools in the home environment to reduce stress and increase resiliency.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a modality used to process trauma throughout the lifespan.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting spun off of EMDR and is used similarly to process previous trauma.

Internal Family Systems

IFS has been used to increase insight and awareness into parts of self. This intervention blends nicely with EMDR for deeper processing.

Amen Method

The Amen Method is a 3-pronged approach: Nutrition, Supplementation and Exercise to treat a range of mental health conditions.

Safe and Sound Protocol

This protocol was developed by Stephen Porges and is an evidenced-based approach to reduce sympathetic nervous system arousal. This intervention is used for Autistic as well as people who have experienced trauma.

Trust-Based Relational Intervention

TBRI was developed nearly 20 years ago and is a method of caregiving that is attachment-based and developmentally respectful. We find this method to be the quickest response to facilitating change within the family.

Certified Integrative Mental Health Professionals

For clients interested, we utilize alternative/integrative strategies including yoga, breath work, nutrition, supplementation and exercise.

Animal Assisted Therapy

Nala is our resident dog that provides support to employees as well as clients who work with Marina.

Inter Personal Therapy (IPT)

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on how current interpersonal relationships and social situations can affect mental health, particularly in the context of depression. It's a structured, time-limited approach that aims to improve relationships and social functioning to alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being.

Gottman Method

The Gottman Method is a research-based approach to couples therapy that focuses on improving communication, building trust, and increasing intimacy between partners. It aims to help couples disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy and respect, and remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy. The core principle is the "Sound Relationship House" theory, which emphasizes building a strong foundation of friendship, affection, and mutual support.

Risk Assessment

We can typically provide same-day risk assessments for children/youth/adults experiencing suicidal ideation to help stabilize the client. Often we are able to stabilize with a safety plan and keep the client in the community.

Training

We provide community trainings to law enforcement, schools, churches, day cares and other organizations who work with children and people who have experienced trauma.
