Meet The Team

Navara, LCSW + Clinical Director
My earliest memories included noticing suffering, pondering heaven, and recognizing injustice. I thought every child fell asleep at night wondering what was beyond the physical realm. As soon as I could write, you would find me sending letters of encouragement to someone who was sick or grieving. One might say, I was called to social work.

I have lived the majority of my life in the Pacific Northwest; however, I was blessed to experience black-eyed peas, fried chicken, torrential downpours, and the fireflies of the deep south.
It was my time in South Carolina that grew my awareness of injustice recognizing the spirit of slavery was very much still alive. Just a middle schooler without the wisdom, knowledge, or power to make a change, I used what I had to address the condition. With a couple of dozen eggs, I targeted the homes in my neighborhood that harbored people who were racist (my skills are much more refined now and full of love).
It is from these experiences that I vowed to use the ways I hold power to blaze a way for those who hold less power.

Brooke
I am blessed to be the Office Manager and training facilitator at Raising Resilience.
I have a degree in Criminal Justice, years of experience with teaching and experiential education, and have a passion for helping families and individuals through difficult times.
My favorite hobbies are spending time with my kids and hiking.

Marina, LCSW
Working with children has always been Marina's passion from the time she was young, at one point dreaming of being a lawyer for children to advocate for their rights. Her mom was inspiring to her, becoming a licensed social worker while raising her and her three brothers as a single parent. She grew up knowing that life had challenges, but she also knew there are ways to overcome them.
She grew up in Southern California where there is a lot of sunshine, and a lot of diversity. It’s not uncommon to see homeless people on every corner or have someone approach you at the store, begging for some money. As kids her mom taught her and her siblings to help people, giving them bottles of water or offering some of their groceries. Sharing her resources and talents came naturally to her, and even after she graduated from high school she gave back to the community by coaching cheerleading in her former middle school while taking college courses.
Her move to the pacific northwest started out as a vacation and quickly surprised everyone when she packed my car and relocated to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She lived with family friends and finished her associate, then her bachelor’s, then her master’s degree in social work, all the while serving coffee at Dutch Bros. first as barista and then as a manager. She loves working with people and finds it easy to motivate them to do their best work, while nurture them along the way.
After graduating with her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2020 and passing her licensure exam, she knew she not only wanted to be an advocate for what children need, but also help them heal emotionally from the challenges that life circumstances bring. Children (and adults) sometimes need some extra guidance and care to discover what they need, and her goal is to provide that emotional support so children can advocate for themselves as they mature.
Marina's hope is that everyone who walks through the door at Raising Resilience gets the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual support they need to become the best they can be.

She is your typical Pacific Northwest girl who loves hiking, backpacking, hammocks, hot springs, and most things that involve the outdoors. She has a pup named Bear who is her true hiking companion.
Jodi is passionate about trauma informed care, and she strives to continue learning in order to support her clients and her community better.

Delaney, LCSW
Delaney is an LCSW and has worked considerably with those experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Her background includes residential care, foster care licensing, community-based rehabilitative services, and administrative work for mental health programming.
Primarily, she utilizes a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy- with a focus on neurobiology, self-compassion, and attachment. What this means; she loves to help you learn about your values and relationships and what is possible within your brain as you learn about yourself through the therapeutic relationship.
She also offers faith-based counseling upon request. She takes a more client-led, non-structured and exploratory approach. What feels important to you in each session is important to her.
Delaney is passionate about instilling hope and a voice by implementing conversations about resilience, boundaries, and self-worth. She works with all ages, but has a particular heart for teens and young adults.
In her free time, she practices self-care by running, reading a book, doing something creative, or spending time with her friends, family, and pets.

Madison, LMSW
Madison has always had a soft spot for people experiencing conflict and hardship, and that calling has guided her into the world of social work long before she had the words for it. In college, one psychology course changed the direction of her life, inspiring her to switch majors and pursue a deeper understanding of people and their stories.
She graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Psychology and minors in American Indian Studies and Sociology.
In 2019, she became a credentialed victims advocate, following her passion to support those who have experienced victimization. She later began working in her community as a skills builder, where she had the privilege of supporting high risk teens as they developed coping skills, resilience, and confidence.
Her journey eventually led her to the University of Kentucky’s Master of Social Work program, where she focused on postpartum mental health and depression, areas that hold deep personal significance for her. Today, her work is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and the belief that healing is possible for everyone. She works with children in their toddler years learning to interact with the world around them to older adults who are working through life transitions.
Madison is honored to share this space with you, and she looks forward to supporting you on your path toward stability, strength, and emotional well-being.
